Spreading Cheer: BioMarin's Uplifting Holiday Hygiene Kit Build Event

The holidays are a time for giving and for spreading joy. But for many people who are experiencing homelessness, the holidays can be a difficult time. In the heart of California, we organized a joyful Holiday Hygiene Kit Build event for BioMarin's company holiday party, donating kits to the Downtown Streets Team (DST), supporting those experiencing homelessness.

The event centered around crafting hygiene kits filled with essential items like toothpaste, toothbrushes, shampoo, conditioner, soap, deodorant, and more. These care packages, assembled with love, were destined to bring a touch of joy and essential care to DST members during the holiday season.

Volunteers at the Holiday Hygiene Kit Build event enjoyed not just a volunteering experience but:

BioMarin's holiday party saw the energetic collaboration of 22 volunteers, resulting in the creation of 200 hygiene kits! These festive care packages have been sent off to the Downtown Streets Team, ready to be shared with individuals experiencing homelessness or at risk.
